Trilogy initiates new Congestion Exposure working group at IETF

Trilogy has succeeded in establishing a new IETF working group in order to standardise Congestion Exposure. The objective of Congestion Exposure is to help capacity sharing in the Internet, through a mechanism that allows senders to inform the network of the level of congestion they expect their packets to encounter. The re-ECN protocol, developed within the Trilogy project, is a strong candidate for the WG. The WG meets for the first time in Julne 2010 during the IETF-78 meeting in Maastricht.
